This project improves the Commercial Street Corridor and the Commercial and Garnsey Street intersection by constructing a short segment of multi-use trail and making improvements along existing low traffic volume street corridors to define a shared-use roadway as a designated bike route “neighborhood connector” that links the surrounding residential properties to existing bike trail improvements. Street improvements included curb and sidewalk, drainage and pavement base repairs, new surface asphalt, signage, pavement markings, site furnishing, street tree plantings, and a Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) to increase safety for pedestrians.
