LJB Inc. seeks a candidate to fill the position of structural engineer. You will have the opportunity to complete structural design work including foundation design, framing design and tilt-up wall panel design for a national network of design build contractors. LJB services a diverse market including commercial, federal and international clients. You must exhibit a professional attitude, innovative ideas, analytical problem solving and a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently. You will be expected to immediately impact our firm as we seek the best methods to serve our clients. Opportunity for advancement available.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structures required
• Master’s degree preferred
• P.E. license preferred or attainable within one year
• S.E. license a plus
• Minimum of 10 years experience preferred
• Tilt-up concrete panel building experience preferred
• RAM Structural System experience required
• Enercalc experience preferred
• Microsoft Excel and Word experience required
• MicroStation experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Structural design work including foundation design, framing design, tilt-up wallpanel design and plan preparation
• Office environment with some field work possible
• Regional travel possible
