LJB Inc. hires director of architecture
LJB Inc. recently hired Thomas K. Boardman, A.I.A., as its director of architecture. In this role, he is responsible for the quality delivery of all architectural services within the firm. Key duties include department oversight, project scheduling and quality management.
Boardman previously worked at LJB from 1987 until 2002. In his six years outside the firm, he worked as a forensic architect for a local environmental company and as a project manager for a local construction company.
“My experiences outside LJB have given me a unique perspective of the entire design process—from the intricate details to overall constructability,” Boardman said. “Today I bring a broader perspective that provides value for LJB clients.”
“LJB is privileged to have Tom Boardman back on its staff,” said LJB president Mark Thompson. “We already knew of his skills for architecture and project management, but his construction background further compliments LJB’s focus on design-build delivery.”
