Jeff Griffin, P.E.

Jeff is a structural engineer with LJB Inc., a leading engineering and architecture firm. He joined the firm in 1997 and later became a principal with the company in 2006.  Jeff is a licensed professional engineer and holds a bachelors, masters and Ph.D. degree in civil engineering.  He designs and manages the construction of single and multiple-story office, warehouse, military and retail buildings.  Jeff has particular expertise in the design of structures built with sitecast tilt-up concrete wall panels.  Jeff is a leading resource for the tilt-up industry having researched the method's force protection characteristics and managed the publication of an industry design guide through the American Concrete Institute.  To enhance his communication skills, Jeff is working toward Competent Communicator status through Toastmasters International.   To him, public speaking offers the chance for him to convey his passion for tilt-up, something that might otherwise be lost in a printed article.
