Meg Phillips, P.E.

With a structural engineering degree, Meg joined LJB in 1999 as a structural engineer. Since then she has earned a master's degree and professional engineering licenses in Ohio and Kentucky. Meg has acquired significant experience designing, managing, training and speaking publicly to large groups.

Although Meg is highly skilled in designing cranes, support structures and platforms for industrial facilities, her passion is safety--fall protection in particular. Meg motivates her audiences by enthusiastically sharing her design experiences. Her favorite moments are the "ah ha" moments when an individual is able to apply her message to their world or work environment. She loves to communicate technical information in a logical, interesting way.

Meg is a member of ASSE's WISE (Women in Safety Engineering), and as an alumni of the University of Kentucky, she actively visits and shares her experiences with engineering students at UK.
