LJB Inc. has been recognized as a 2022 Healthiest Employers of Ohio and of Texas by The Healthiest Employers program. The Healthiest Employers organization honors companies that prioritize employees wellbeing both in the office and at home. 2022 marks the fourth consecutive year that LJB has received this honor in the state of Ohio and the second year in a row in the state of Texas.
LJB has three offices in Ohio and one in Texas, but all locations across the firm utilize corporate and employee-led committees where their focus is to plan and lead events that encourage employees’ overall wellness and reduce health risks. LJB collects employee feedback and uses it to drive initiatives, including: weekly fresh delivery of fruits and other healthy snacks, “Wellness Wednesdays”, and a variety of social and mental health focused events and resources. “Each LJB team member wants to know that we are concerned about the whole person,” said LJB CEO, Rod Sommer. “We have worked hard to put together a diverse program that meets each individual where they are.”
In order to be considered, LJB must submit the Healthiest Employers® Official Application which consists of approximately 100 in-depth questions and multiple comprehensive evaluations of programming. There were 51 employers recognized in Ohio and 43 employers in Texas honored this year. LJB now has a chance earn a spot in the Healthiest 100™ Workplaces in America.
