LJB supported Chagrin Valley Engineering, LTD (CVE) in the design and plan development for a multi-use trail bridge within the City of Bay Village, Ohio. LJB was responsible for the design, hydraulics, floodplain analysis and structural plans for the trail bridge over Cahoon Creek. The new prefabricated steel truss bridge has an overall span of 120 feet and a usable width of 12 feet face-to-face of the handrails. LJB completed the bridge abutment design and plan development, as well as the prefabricated truss general notes and specifications, estimated quantities, and construction cost estimating.
