To address structural deficiencies, LJB designed the replacement of four bridges for the county. The bridges were all single-span box beam bridges utilizing the same widths and span lengths. LJB worked closely with the County to develop construction plans that could be bid as separate projects as needed. Foundation design assumptions made at the beginning of project were coordinated with the geotechnical subconsultant to provide foundation design and plan development as efficiently as possible. The project had multiple foundation types, including spread footings, drilled shafts, and pile foundations.
