OHFA Environmental Review Records

LJB has been completing environmental assessments (called Environmental Review Records under HUD NEPA regulations) for the state of Ohio since 1996. These assessments are conducted to ensure that the projects are in compliance with federal and state environmental laws, a requirement for federal HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Funds distributed by the Ohio Department of Development. In addition to identifying deficiencies and recommending solutions, LJB also evaluates the environmental impact of the projects, works closely with federal, state and local officials, non-profit sponsoring agencies, housing developers and public citizens to minimize the negative effects to the environment. As part of the evaluation of the human environment, LJB also evaluates traffic safety, community resource impacts and site safety.
