LJB provided structural services for the 4600 River Road project near the University of Maryland at College Park. The four-story, 106,500-square-foot building provides office, lab, and collaboration space for a cyber security and IT workforce development company. The structure uses tilt-up concrete walls and still incorporates 45% glass for architectural appeal—with the remainder of the walls clad in brick, limestone, and sandblasted architectural mix concrete.
This project received a National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) DC/MD Chapter—Award of Excellence in 2022.
