In 1874, the Morrison brothers built a cast-and-wrought-iron bowstring arch bridge to carry a rural road over the Auglaize River. More than 150 years later, LJB led the effort to give this rare piece of 19th-century ironwork a new purpose: a pedestrian bridge connecting recreational trails in the City of Sidney’s Tawawa Park. The completed bridge provides an accessible connection between the park’s parking area and its lake trail, and preserves a genuinely rare artifact of Ohio’s early bridge-building industry for generations to come.
