Interstate 90 Bridge Replacements

This project involves the complete replacement and widening of two pairs of bridges: Interstate 90 over State Route 57 and Interstate 90 over West River Road. Traffic needed to be maintained during construction, including ramp access. LJB first performed an alternate structure study to determine the most cost-efficient layout and structure type for the new bridges. Construction of improvements to SR-57 and the I-90 ramps was ongoing during the design of the bridges. LJB coordinated with the designer, contractor and ODOT District 3 to minimize additional ramp impacts and ensure synchronization of the two projects.
