After providing comprehensive fall protection training for selected staff working at NASA’s Glenn Research Center, LJB was hired to conduct a thorough fall hazard assessment. LJB’s team of fall protection specialists surveyed more than 100 structures at the center, identifying hazards inside all facilities, on roofs and on outdoor equipment, such as process piping. The assessment revealed nearly 2,500 hazards at the 350-acre site. These hazards were then catalogued into a report and evaluated using LJB’s proprietary risk assessment method to determine a relative risk or priority.
