Frederick Airport Park – Phase I

Frederick Airport Park Phase I added more than 515,000 square feet of industrial and logistics space to Frederick, Maryland, through the construction of two identical warehouse facilities. LJB served as the structural engineer for Buildings 2 and 3, designing the tilt-up concrete wall systems, structural steel framing, roof structures and foundations. Each 257,600-square-foot building featured a rear-loaded warehouse configuration with high clear heights, dock loading capabilities and flexible layouts suited for a wide range of industrial users. The structural design combined load-bearing tilt-up concrete panels with long-span steel framing to create durable, efficient facilities that supported accelerated construction and long-term performance.
