LJB designed mast arm traffic signal supports that are of a style compatible with recent signal installations along the SR741 corridor. The design included other signal related equipment and equipment for a fully functional installation.
The signal supports utilized a performance based specification that required the manufacturer to meet loading requirements of the new signal supports and stamp the approved shop drawings.
The design also included equipment to connect with the existing system along the State Route 741 corridor. Interconnect and signal controller equipment were sole sourced to be compatible with existing hardware and enable communication.
Radio interconnect was the preferred interconnect method to the existing signal system and additional plans were not required to connect the proposed traffic signal to the existing system.
